Crumbs

A crumb fell in my keyboard
just where the space bar and letter b are stored.

Couldn’t get it out no matter how I tried to jiggle
so there it lay defiant with every wiggle,
inching further down it went
	with every failed attempt.

The crumbs of life
a blessing given but sometimes impolite.

It’s disappeared now
and even with my head low and bowed
I no longer see it freeing,
what damage will it do while I am keying?

Must learn not to eat or snack
	when crumbs are on attack.
