Cruelty of Hate

                                       hate,
                                      cruel
                                  acid that
                           corrodes the soul
and turns it as black as coal if carried
too long in one's heart; hate can be unlearned,
                             driven out with...
                              love should it
                                 consume
                                     thee

Can indeed be unlearned just as it was first earth learned, not ingrained inside souls God perfectly made. I paused when I realized many poets had written about hate in their personal life as opposed to global hate which is where my mind and pen went. Your write can be applied to individual or group linked hate. (don't even like typing the word.) Your entry is quite creative. Poetry hugs ... CayCay
