Crucify the World

You say you want your freedom
But you're leaving
Half your kingdom
To a people
Who don't need it
You can't crucify the world

So you're feeling bare without it
Tell me how
You've gone about it
You can try until you're old
You can't crucify the world

Now you're telling me you're done
No ideal under the sun
To determine anyone
Who can crucify the world

But wait a bit more time
Till my pen
Runs out of rhyme
There will come
Another one
Who will crucify the world
