Crucial Moment
The crucial moment passed
Like the evening shadows gone;
While trying to remember well
The nights can’t erase days foregone.
I shelf my thoughts aside
And depend on positive rest;
Guilt shall not undress my heart
Though I’m scared and stressed.
Remorse was my crucial moment
Which warranted me all my fears;
And while I’m safely safe when asleep
The goodness of the pass clears.
All emotions known faced facts and guilt
Leaving a residue of doubts which I’ve built.
DOWN THE GHETTO
walking a street in the ghetto
rubbish can be seen everywhere
as two stray dogs mating
