Crowned In His Glory Not Our Own

In the midst of our trials and circumstances of life, we have the tendency to complain and even find someone else to blame. It’s our nature to defend, even if we have to pretend. Stretch the truth to the point the truth becomes aloof and we become uncouth, lending to our character to stand untarnished before our family and friends. You see it’s not us but it’s them, who have created this end. How foolish it was of them to have done such things, don’t they realize who will judge us in the end. How foolish are we, who have not seen the truth and acted accordingly. For none are so perfect that they can judge. But one and only one, this judge will come, like a thief in the night no one knows when. Oh hypocrites we have become, blaming and shaming anyone who comes, with the trials and testings that are ours and no one else’s to overcome. But we stand pious in our self proclaimed humility, ignoring the truth that our lack of ability, to bend the knee raise our hands confess our sins surrender our lives as a living sacrifice, is the true cause of our demise. Our trials and our testings are not to cause us harm, but to produce in us a character worthy of the one. The one who has come and is to come and will come at an hour we know not when. Let us lay down the things before us not as a sin against us but as a testing, for which will produce a blessing. For we are not strangers but heirs to the throne crowned in His glory not our own.
