Crown of Thorns

she always smiles at me
when we meet
once our eyes locked
I saw what was on the inside
pain and hurt
broken dreams
and a broken heart
we all wear crowns
of thorns
tomorrow
I'll make her smile
reach to her
around the broken dreams
under her broken heart
give her love
make the damn pain
and hurt go away
at least for alitte while
if I'm careful
I willn't get hurt
by her crown of thorns
