Crown

CROWN
======

I looked at an image of Christ.
His crown carried the sins of the world,
No gems or gold but valuable messages.

A crown of thorn on a humble man,
Leaves everlasting memory.

I looked at the king's picture.
The crown on his head bedecked with gems,
It showed the value of the wearer.

A crown of gold on a ruler,
Leaves  some memory .

I looked at a crown in an antique shop,
It had numerous stories to tell,
Popular time of its life is gone,

A crown on a shelf of an old shop,
Leaves no memory .
