Crown

"Crown"
My eyes are on you Blue Sky From where I stand my eyes are grass green silver cut grass green sharp and hungry My lips are persimmon sweet ripe and dripping words thick and smooth like warm honey My mind is open wide like your eyes Blue Sky sharp sonar seductive dark and strong as black tea echolocation bouncing against your body wings beating wet waves against your hot skin Wings spread wide I am Awake all yours upside down Fever rides you I break you in wearing your crown your skin glistening From where I lay my eyes are silver cut glass green My eyes are on you Blue Sky (LadyLabyrinth / 2020)
"If music be the food of love, play on; Give me excess of it, that, surfeiting, The appetite may sicken, and so die. That strain again! it had a dying fall: O! it came o'er my ear like the sweet sound That breathes upon a bank of violets, Stealing and giving odour..." Act 1 Scene 1 Twelfth Night "Enough, no more. 'Tis not so sweet now as it was before. O spirit of love, how quick and fresh art thou, That, notwithstanding thy capacity Receiveth as the sea, nought enters there, Of what validity and pitch soe'er, But falls into abatement and low price Even in a minute. So full of shapes is fancy That it alone is high fantastical."

if I am such as this, a thought a memory a timeless intrusion into the mind's turbulent wells of dreams, may I be aware of my own failures to escape such a realm as this, could I at least suffocate the darkness and find a light distant though it may be and reach out for it, though my hands are broken and my back is burned by the moonlight

What fresh Hell is this? Ah Monsieur Parker, we all have intriguing and interesting ways of dissecting, analysing and coping with the present events and Life in general, dealing, summoning and meeting with our God/s, be they real or internal. x

I will not "go gentle into that good night". I will not go "easy" on blind faith alone. My relationship with "God"/Blue Sky. Provocative. There are 3 in this relationship. "We". "Blessed Be". ;)

Translation: If it’s true that music makes people more in love, keep playing. Give me too much of it, so I’ll get sick of it and stop loving. Play that part again! It sounded sad. Oh, it sounded like a sweet breeze blowing gently over a bank of violets, taking their scent with it. That’s enough. Stop. It doesn’t sound as sweet as it did before. Oh, love is so restless! It makes you want everything, but it makes you sick of things a minute later, no matter how good they are. Love is so vivid and fantastical that nothing compares to it.
