Crosswise-Grand-Daughters Fair

Your innocence your purity your smile
So open so natural so wide
Charms enchants awakes
My spirit my eyes my pride

My spirit my eyes my pride
Inside in wonder in youth
To pray to gaze to praise
In love in awe of thee

This form (which I have labelled crosswise) was popular in the 17th century. It can be read in

I can so relate to the love that pours from this clever, beautiful write, Brian. This poem is one I plan to print out, and keep. It says everything I feel about my own grand daughter. Very tender. ~ Carrie
