Crossroads of the Soul

Life’s about choices,
each a whisper in the wind,
a shadow stretching longer than the day.
Paths diverge under our feet,
some lined with roses,
others hidden in thorns.

We stumble, we rise,
sometimes guided by courage,
sometimes by fear.
Every step writes a story
on the parchment of our hearts,
and the echoes of yesterday
shape the music of tomorrow.

No map can show it all,
no compass points the way
only the brave dance with uncertainty,
trusting that even a misstep
can lead to wisdom,
and every choice
is a brushstroke
on the canvas of life.
