Crossroad Choices

They say never bet the devil your head
he will come for it looking eyes all red
all the lies you were fed
next thing you know surprise your dead

Dont give your soul up no matter what
coming up at the crossroads stuck
than out of nowhere from the dust
appeared a thing I knew I could not trust

This creature was trying to offer me something
when really it had nothing
but a bunch of lies and bluffing
its breath was disgusting

He offered me treasures and the keys
to all of my dreams
I knew better because the grass is not always green
and life is not always what it seems. -TA
