Crossing the River

Let us cross over the river
and rest under the shade of the trees
for surely by not waiting we shall see
no time gained greater to us than these
Pagodas temples and soft music greet us there
Oh how soft the rain on my face please not mistaken tears
expression no longer a protest our bones shall not last
Things dropped into the river will and must sink to their rest

Respect to Stonewall Jackson
