Crossed Up At Birth

How could anyone in their right mind

Choose war over peace

Conflict over stability

Upset over a smooth flow

Please enlighten me before I pass into the ages

Maybe I'm missing a few brain cells

But it is totally illogical to me

We carry on with our day to day activities

But looming in the back of the minds

Of all the peace loving souls in the world

Remains this fear that we're heading

For a disaster of monumental proportions

My days here on earth are relatively short

In comparison but I still find it

Totally unbelievable and I'm absolutely appalled

That so-called intelligent human beings

Lose track of what this life is all about

Are their genes unique... different to us normal folks

Did something get crossed up at birth

Help me! I just don't understand

Is there a cause worth dying for?

I know not one if you ask me

The only and most important thing in life

Is love of our family and our fellow humans

Where did I go wrong in this assessment

Please SOMEONE... help me!

Carol Eastman January 17, 2015 at 11:03 AM Don't forget love of Dragon, Trolls, and Penguins. Hubby said to add me. Hey! I'm human, too! Silly Hubby! But He and Grandpa Troll are rolling on the floor laughing, again. Just like when hubby told me I'd locked myself out of the house, and I got upset, until I realized I had the keys in my hand! Practical jokers aren't funny! Especially when Dragon was inside and scared he'd lost me, and would never get out! This means war! Practical jokes are us! More should do it our way. Honestly!
