Cross Over

as I walk along the river my heart on the other side trying to cross over but the bridge I burned behind how do I get back and keep it all dry when my love for you sits on the other side storm clouds shuffle across the afternoon sun, promising to overtake, leave it all undone blocking all the warmth and the light to see me through how do I get back back to the other side this wind-blown dust stings my eyes, I can still hear your song a hushed lyrical goodbye is there any way back back to where I was find me on this bank build a bridge to bring me back back to the other side with you
