Cross In the Center
Cross In The Center

When Jesus came to me amid my first storm,
I felt assured that nothing was to big for God.
Jesus changed my heart from Icy to warm,
And no longer was I enshrouded by a facade.
During times in life, when waning was hope,
I've been found in paths, dark and uncertain.
Suffering had impaired my ability to cope,
Stolen my peace and stress became it's curtain.
God allowed my storms to find my level of trust,
For only in my weakness would I let Him enter.
Often times, suffering causes thoughts to readjust,
Reestablishing my focus on “the cross in the center.”
Suffering has necessitated new paths to adapt,
My heart needed comfort as I sought for resolve.
Some days negative thoughts had me entrapped,
In giving Jesus my burden, problem was solved.
Philippians 4:13 New King James Version
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
