Crooked Cottage

Deep in the bowels of the mushroom forest
There is a crooked cottage with a mind of her own.
She does not let just anyone visit.
If a toad or a worm try to get in, she bars her doors.
If a spider wants entry, she willingly lets it in.
She loves spider webs and has many already.
If a fly comes by, she easily allows entry.
Something has to feed the spiders.

'A Fly Went By,' wrote Dr. Seuss -- but never by this Crooked Cottage. How's the cottage cheese in there, by the way? Keep smiling, Caren.

I shall keep smiling. School starts for our students tomorrow!
