Crimson Tide

Corona inflamed
red sun, wan in a smoked haze
Invisible algal bloom
marine, now airborne
searing land as it takes off
on fevered wings around Earth
Noxious fumes surround…

This culmination of deeds
ill-human-seeded...
Death razes a cleansing cull -
Ecology is avenged

Wow! This is what the sun looked like here in Fresno, California during all the fires last summer.

yes, I was working in Stockton when I got the idea for the write because of the red sun ... I hope fires aren't so bad this coming summer but it hasn't been a very wet winter :)
