Criminals Just Do Not Get It

Criminals just do not get it,
When if they only opened their eyes even a little bit,
They would see a much better fit,
When the law gives more opportunities inside it,
Than outside it.

Don't they know information is the thing,
If they want to be a queen or a king.
It will open any door,
Let you make use of the poor,
Or the guy next door. 

If you have a devious mind,
You can rob others blind,
Without getting in a bind. 

The law allows you to drive your bulldozer through it,
With no jail time attached to it.

There will always be some expert
Prepared to blur the lines to fit,
What ever project you want to protect,
With words like minimal impact,
Or no reason to reject. 

So, why do it,
When time in the sun is so short,
And avoiding court,
Can be a dead cert.
