Helping, please and thank you's are Getting less and very far From manners and society It's getting harder to see Old fashioned ways we're used to These days we don't have a clue How to behave or act civil We are turning on a swivel Of rudeness and lack of ethics So who do we blame for this mess Parents who don't even try To punish children who just lie And misbehave, they don't care why No discipline for any actions Putting this world in bad traction 'Hurt from all the hateful things Not correcting children brings Is it drugs and alcohol Making this world start to fall Into darkness and despair Because it is every where Maybe it is all the crime Happening most all the time Robbers, rapists and kidnappings Murders, fear-- this world is lacking In humanity, we need To reverse this evil seed Being planted in us all Making this world and earth fall To violent negativity Hurting children, you and me
