Cries of Gaia

The planet is in pain, She's crying every day, Have we all just gone insane, For Our cruelty she cannot sway, The trees creak with alarm, As their bodies we still borrow, All we bring is harm, And a doom upon tomorrow, Will the whispers in the leaves, Or The roars in the seas, Reach humanities theives, Or fall to the ground like the trees, Will we ever have enough, Will we realize what we've done, Or will it just get rough, When we burn up with the sun?
