The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Cricket In the Grass

Cricket in the green grass
Watching as the clouds pass
Gazing at the faded daytime moon
Singing as the golden poppies bloom

Do you regret the time spent
Wondering where it all went
Hoping for a little change of pace
Never leaving this same humdrum place?

Cricket in the dry grass
Watching as the days pass
Dreaming as the hawk soars through the sky
Crying as the golden poppies die.
