Crepe Myrtle

in the wind around thick limbs
razor smooth barkless

Hi Doris! Do you remember what I said about cooking brussel sprouts? Main thing is to fry them a but before cooking in the saucepan. And then you best boil them until soft and well cooked for about 20 or more minutes best in some kind of broth or spiced water, spiced with black ground pepper and salt and some ground nutmeg. (Use s fork for testing if they are done). And before fry-boiling you could cut crosswise about half an inch deep into the lower end which makes boiling easier. Gert

I cannot believe how stupid I was, Doris. All this time I was trying to do a limerick and finally gave up. I just could not do it. Then I saw it was haiku, and composed one in like a minute!! And thankfully, she put up five more slots. WHOOPEEE!!!
