Creepiest smiling jack
Glowered at those who saw
Rang a bell for those who listened
Rubbed the knee of those who felt
Creepiest smiling jack
One of the last carved pumpkins in the field
Waited to be adopted, to no avail.
Left alone in the field by those with no imaginations or hearts
