Creator Father, By Your Voice--Hymn

O for a thousand tongues to sing
My dear Redeemer’s praise!
  From hymn, “O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing,”
  by Charles Wesley

Creator Father, by your voice
You spoke a word of quickening
And gave us life. Let us rejoice!
O for a thousand tongues to sing!

O Christ, our Savior and our Lord;
Our Lamb of sacrifice, our King;
Immanuel and Living Word—
O for a thousand tongues to sing!

Come, Holy Spirit, by your grace
Inspire our souls and give us wing
To rise into love’s full embrace.
O for a thousand tongues to sing!

The glory of our God, proclaim!
May praise and adoration ring
Till all confess God’s holy name—
O for a thousand tongues to sing!
