Creation In a Bowl

Creation in a bowl

I planted seeds and forest grew

I shed a tear; the ocean bloomed

I made strange creatures of curious design

I made them all with an artist’s eye

I gave them all free will

To do as they pleased

They polluted the earth and cut down the trees

They wiped out some of my most beautiful creatures

And they altered their bodies with ugly features

This wasn’t my way, this wasn’t my wish

But who am I to decide what’s it

They have no faith

They think I’m false

If only they knew what life was

One day we’ll meet as all the others have

And they’ll realize the purpose of my master plan
When you’re ready you will be summoned

However, misbehave and you will get your comeuppance

From me to you until next time

Yours truly

The man in the sky

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
