Creation

hope is what you have when someone takes a second glimps eye's for three seconds fixed and emotions undoubtably mixed a chance for conversation to start a new relation pending loves creation with fresh determination plotting a new destination intentions now are known little by little were shown they hope for the best and won't accept less their doubts are almost gone i'll give you this, if you give me that i'll do this if you do that i'll be this, if you be that ok i am this, ok you'll be that it started with a little kiss an even trade we must admit and where will the future take them the only one who knows is the God who made them

very interesting piece of literature, T.S. Nicely done scrape off of the glitz and glamor exposing the reality of a new relationship and no one knows where it goes except our God who made us. enjoyed. Well written. ...Funny... I felt sorry for him too after I wrote it.

it's very clear that tit-for-tat is for people who have forgotten the essence of the " we" in any kind of reationship.. this powerful piece is a great reminder that harmony dwells for those who really care.. inspiring, TS! thanks for coming around my page as well... :) warmest, nette

I like the way you explore the trade-offs we make in the quest to secure lasting love. Rigid people who refuse to make any compromises often end up very lonely. But compromises should only go so far as God would not want us to sacrifice our dignity and self-respect just to woo a mate. Well said, T.S., and thanks for your insightful comments on my poem about Social Security. Best wishes, Carolyn

Hi TS. Love starts and grows in various ways. A humorous look at the fact that we fall for someone because of what they are, then immediately try to change them. Well thought out and written. Eamon
