Creating today

I drew out seven canvases today
no biggie for me
I am a cartoonist
my tunes draw themselves
I hold onto the pencil
where they come from I do not know
They are as automatic as my poems
they are as automatic as my poems
poems I do not recognize in a week
or sometimes by the end of the same day I wrote them
My muses amuse themselves daily
doing what they do when they want how they want
without direction or input from me
a bit of proof that my right brain and left brain do not communicate
each one prancing independently
