Create Beauty,Not Blues

"This is the day the Lord  made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it!"           ~~~ We woke up today, alive, I might add! Had our coffee and put on the news. Loaded with negatives, photos that so darken our hearts, it made our toes curl in our house shoes. Numbers that chill us to the very bone! There's positives which are never shown. Listening to this? Not very smart! Take your shower, get dressed and get out of the house, happy as a lark. You are a poet with a pen! With the ability to create a world full of hope and stunningly golden. Make it your business to pay special attention to your pets and to others. This is no time to give into depression, hiding under our covers. March 31,2020 10:11am PST

Hi Panagiota, we are in severe lock down, only allowed in our gardens, no walks, no runs, no doggy walks - but I agree with our President, he made a wise decision - we have so much to do, cleaning the house, writing my poetry, sketching, making jewellry, scrabble. Elias helps me with the house thank goodness. He has his toy room which is his double garage which is filled with toys for boys - then we have Netflix to watch or a braai in the garden. Love your exquisite poem, Blessings, Jennifer

Well, we are only in stay in place in CA for approximately the past two weeks. We can run, walk, bike, doggy walk too. Store hours are getting limited. I have been in self isolation for two months as I am in the high risk group. Eddie called me last night. He cannot come in my house. That is the hardest of all. There I was sobbing on the phone. He goes to school online daily.I never get bored. My calico cat is a warm fuzz ball. Gratefully, Panagiota xx

We can't decide what's in store, take it on the chin with a smile on your face. Tom

You remind me of the words I recall from a song long ago... "Let your smile be your umbrella, on a rainy day" Thanks my friend, Panaiota xx

Great advice, although here the police have taken over the streets. Not much fun 'taking a walk.' Oh, well... Cheers, Gershon

Thank you Darlene... I am not around people at all, except for Maria once a week for a short time. I follow all guidelines, too. The washing of hands is the most potent. I am so hungry today, Panagiota xx Appreciate your Comment, dear friend!
