Crazy
You said you were going crazy,
I asked you to take me.
You promised the sunset by the road,
I wanted the sunrise on the water.
You sang me your own song,
But I wanted to dance under the stars.
We were going crazy and you were driving,
We were going crazy with me as a passenger.
You wanted a kiss,
I only wanted you to take my hand.
We drove into the sunset,
And ended up in the sunrise.
We were together and confused,
Two souls that had been abused.
We found each other
Searching only for a friend.
In the dark the truth was found,
In the light emotions were controlled.
Down the deserted highway
Was the road of destiny.
Secrets to be revealed
With no one around.
A look then a touch
An embrace then a kiss
Left us speechless
And with a pounding heart.
We were going crazy
But we were together.
