Crazy

Wait outside for the candle to melt down. But outside is what they do! Go to the store that exists. Or maybe they have a song. Over there. I could have given them the pant leg. I chewed off a few blades of grass. Not the roots. I have something to eat in my pocket. Something like a crumb, that makes me anxious. Waiting in line for the line to move forward. I thought I heard the breeze but I didn’t. The candle tried reaching out. But melted as expected. I am an evil scientist! Who likes roller coasters. Who likes wearing lab coats. Who likes chewing his fingernails. Who likes to wear pant legs as sleeves. Who likes painting rocks. He waited for a week. There was nothing meek. As he unraveled his lab coat. There is no reason to gloat. The experiment was like a wishing well. It drowned us. Turn on the air conditioning. And that’s a good enough lesson for today.
