Crazily Contagious

Being unique is so rare
Others have to be aware
I never know how I'll be
Day to days a mystery
Funny, cooky or insane
I try to never let it rain
Even when I'm sad and down
I can turn it all around
It will only take a while
Till my frown is a big smile
Making everyone near me
Forget all their misery
When my inner child shows
Cheer and fun around me grows
And soon everyone begins
To let go and joins right in
Laughter echoes through the streets
Friendly strangers will soon greet
One another ---its outrageous
It spreads and becomes contagious
Through streets, restaurants, and bars
It travels so near and far
Connecting others in this world
Every single boy and girl
Grown adults and even babies
Catch the fever and go crazy
Peace and love are all you see
In this cheerful harmony
Ringing out across the land
Uniting people, its so grand

This poem sure is a lot of fun. Love how it grows and spreads and probably heals a lot of ills out there.

Again, I must agree with Becca. "You're unique, just like everybody else" springs to mind lol. Also reminds of the "pay it forward" theory". Very happy and uplifting piece, Sweet Pea! :)
