Craving otherworldly Respite

Crystal eyes gleam
at the prospect of
scintillating sapphire blush
gliding films of
wonder dilate bliss
driven lilac haze
spasmodic orbital earth
spinning obtuse lumen
tangents of night mist
droplets whilst baton
passing relay to a
fledgling bronze dawn
casting nirvana plume
upon dream realm
bloom ecstatic as
it relishes omen
rich tinctured contrast
between charcoal sky
nocturne palettes
as they filter and
flit twinkling star
navy seamless scant
that segued so obscure
effulgent epigram
ebullient now clusters
prismatic pathway to
heavenly halos as
distances dangle yet
taunt blearier thoughts
craving respite from
otherworldly current
teetering that oft
piles havoc on havoc
and so life’s gust
ridden rapt round
cycle of gold dust
dalliance escape or
plangent zither polar
opposite amid restless
fugitives static in
behemoth bemused
boundless bearing that
eludes prized benefit
silver leaf whorl
shatters global coma
somersault wish fountain
spewing visual candy
intent on potted
gut wrench ferment
aqueous humor
corn-rimmed pun
devoid of humour
and weak seed
awash with less
than fluid gag
embryonic platform
feeble tug at
lenses partly stymied
but Spring usher’s
first light crocus
that beacon prompt

Your last three lines sum it all. The crocus of your words defying Winter that beacons a prompt. A whorl, a gust, an ecstatic piece. Bravo.
