Crashing Into My Reality
Until three months ago
my life was busy, plain
and straightforward
then your love
crashed into my reality
moving my mind and emotions
in all directions,
but mainly moving them
towards you.
All I want now
is to be with you,
even more than
22 years ago
when you weren’t
sure enough
of yourself
or me
to share your love.
There’s no need
to keep looking back,
I just want to move forward
in whatever direction
takes me close
and allows me
to be with you.
God only knows
when, where, why or how,
but I’m praying that
when is soon,
where is here,
why is because of our love
and how is what
we have to figure out.
Our love being united
will heal us, not hurt us.
