Cranberry Crush
You are like a song in my breast
That I have not even whispered yet
Afraid of jinxing the uniqueness
Of jazz we have inside our chest
The idea of you like chocolate cake
Icing not needed for you’re sweet to taste
And I look forward to every denim day
Hoping to see your smiling engaging face
What I have is a cranberry crush
I’m your secrete fan can’t get enough
If I get the chance to chat you up
Likely to fumble and speak fuchsia fluff
