Crafting Thought
a shanzi
Having a job
does help pay the bills
after hours, writing
brings great release
from stress and strain
of business woes
and parent pressure.
My poetry
gives vital structure
to inspiration's
transient brain.
Rhyme and meter
like lightning rods
stabilize my dreams.
