Cradling Beauty
I’m just
Lying here thinking
Butterfly thoughts,
Cradling beauty in my arms,
Hummingbirds and
Lady lacewings
Aflutter lovely in my mind
I’m just lying
Here, form-fitted
To my mattress, goose-down
Feathers at my head,
Crying in
For the joy of it
Sparkling snowflake tears
Drift softly
d

w
n
melt into petals of clear-pond
water lilies
afloat
on the shiny surface of my
newly glistening soul
Here is the peaceful place –
Here the endless room of rainbows
I am home,
Welcome home,
I
Am
Home!
