I despair at the wondrous life that we appear to eradicate with such ease. If indeed man prospers thousands of years from now, I pray they tell of their past, James.......

So sad is the reality of endangered animals...I know certain species of coyotes and wolves are endangered because we keep building and taking away their habitat...progress, right? Most people don't realize...a brilliant write, James...hugs, Rhonda

Thanks kindly Rhonda. It abhors me seeing what we are doing to such creatures that have resided here longer than us. One word sums up such devastation, and that's human. Hugs back Big Style, James :) x

'Coyote Ugly' is a Movie title. My comment depicts that 'Coyote's' are indeed not ugly, we humans are...................................,,>

There are so many of us, yet so less of them. Imagine an Apocalypse, and surviving when. Such devastation in abounding implode, then hungry eyes in see. We will still have weapons, when survivors look, what do they see! - I just close my eyes, yet I see. To be honest, the animals come first - thanks kindly for your always kind comments, James :)

I pray they are here longer than humans, and rightly so. We can't even speak to our neighbors without upsetting them by using the wrong word. It doesn't matter whom leaves a despondent Earth, our sick traits will infest others, and it's not out there whom the future Galaxies will decry, it'll be Earth's scum, humans - Sci-Fi, or high fives to the truth, James...love your visits 'Head Mistress' - James :) :) let there be light..

Indeed, but if they start to disappear, what takes their place. Millennium it has taken to see what what we see, if everything has it's place and gaps start to show, mmm :( - James :)

Definite 7 my friend. My Native American blood can relate to this quite well. The wolf being a mystical creature as well as a earth dwelling creature in Native American religion. Great point on man's destructive nature!! Bravo!!!

Hi Robert, I have a lot of time for canines, especially Wolves. I find them fascinating animals. When I write about nature, I always appear to slate man, and rightly so. Smiling seeing you here, your poetry friend, James :) :)
