Coy Obsession
thence it shall be considered
spoken, to satisfy your need
spoken only as it is worded to
be read, spoken
those that shall hear these words
shall ask others why, and in defense of
there sanity they shall want never to hear
these words again.
sung they might find an audience
to the rhythm of a drum
that they might dance around hearing it.
absurd, absurd indeed!
the passion of a reader is drawn from
the inspiration of the written words.
These words only wish me to dance,
that you may gain opportunity to have
me close to you.
might a guitar, satisfy your want.
or a groovy bass line..
Might the movement of my hips please thee,
that you might so speak me in circles
of your friends, that they to would
want to dance with me, and maybe even sing
these lyrics?
Call the band, and command the rhythm,
than I shall find harmony to
tune your words to rhyme!
Otherwise known as "one's coy obsession with the band!"
