Covid World

Living in a Covid world where no one is about
Where a wimper is heard instead of a shout
Airports deserted and train stations are too
People are absent believe me this is true

Offices are empty and shops are closed
Restrictions for outside have been imposed
Two months since the third lockdown began
Hard I know for every child, woman and man

Remaining positive is getting harder by the day
So many negatives seem to get in the way
Where there is a start though a finish will take place
Until then be safe and put that mask on your face
