Covid 19 Drama

The Covid19 is raging; but some of her friends do not care.
Two of them do not believe it exists. 
One went east, the other went west, both on airplanes.
They are both living life the way they always have.
Two other friends say they are sheltering in place
Wearing masks, but she knows they are lying. 

She is amazed; cannot believe how brazen they are.
Fearing the virus with every ounce of herself.
Sitting immobilized, waiting for death.
Truthfully, today might as well be the end.
She’s not seeing any of her friends or family anyway.

Caren Krutsinger July 18, 2020 at 1:41 AM I have been to both schools for 2 hours each because it was required and 15 minutes at the garden center of Lowe's wearing a mask since Friday March 13th. That is it. I do not leave my yard.
