Covid - 19

COVID -19
Irrespective of what your size is
You are not immune to Coronavirus
So stay at home is sound advice
As you may lose at the throw of the dice
Man, woman or child, it does not care
So dice with death...if you dare.
This evil curse is here for a while
He conducts his business with artless guile
To offer the path of least resistance
You must be sensible and keep your distance.
This is not a disease to be treated lightly
And one that will not go politely.
Before he does he will take his toll
Of thousands of humans and not trouble his soul.
If you are lucky enough to escape his scythe
Consider how others managed to survive.
Often by the unselfishness of the NHS
Those doctors, nurses, carers we will forever bless
If it was not for the unselfish acts of public health staff
There could many more treading a one way path.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Hello Arlene Phillips,so nice to meet you. The virus is here for awhile. We have to proect ourselves when going out. Wearing a mask and washing our hands is important to. Keeping your distance from a crowd is very important. Enjoy your day my friend.

The virus did NOT steal 2020! Morons like Donald Trump did! There are NO exemptions nor exceptions to a pandemic! Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell (who jogs) says joggers are exempt but every maskless jogger can spread COVID-19 droplets on innocent elderly folk waiting at a bus stop! Until government understand there are NO exceptions, the pandemic will plague us! Aloha! Rico

Who would have thought 2020 would have been stolen away from us because of a virus, I hope we never have to go through anything else like it,so much death and hardship caused to so many innocent people, the knock on effect has been catastrophic and affects us all. Stay safe my friend:-) hugs Jan xx
