There’s no known cure for dreams of desire; try to suppress it and it will only cause more havoc in ways least expected. Like a leech, it latches on. It consumes all the things you could think of. A parasite that can’t be haunted. . . it only craves for more. . it can manifest from even the slightest action. . a simple touch causes friction, it heats up your burning hunger to react out of breaking inhibitions. . . side effects include weeks of lingering forbidden thoughts . . hallucinations of possible scenarios. . . a fog of fantasies only to be cleared by reality. You wonder about ‘what if,’ ‘if i could,’ ‘i would,’ –trying only leads to heartache . . only leads to unforgiving tears falling to the same ground as shame, guilt, and misery. You try to make sense of it all. You revert back to where you started. You wait until something finally happens.
