Covered Bridge
Everyone starts their life crossing a bridge
Beginnings and endings, we all have them in life
Life is full of bridges to cross to
To all the stages in life we need to face
Facing a covered bridge with rocks is often
Often life is full of challenges and obstacles
Obstacles that blind you and try to trip you
You best be prepared to face it in life
Like the crossroads that we all need to decide
Deciding the right choice is like the fog that covers us
Us that are trying to cross to the bridge of truth
Where no lies are found and we discover
What life has in store for us beneath the covered bridges
Bridging from the beginning of life till the end of time.
