Cousin Isaac
So alive,
So vibrant,you were
Until death embraced you,
Snuffing out your dreams and hopes
It has been two rains
Since your eternal sojourn.
Though I see you as if you were,
In lived memories.
I often ponder where you are.
Can you see us?
Embittered not by your crossing.
For we all have the same course.
