Courageous Flower

A tiny, lively flower,
in a lovely garden,
- danced -
in the easy, breezy wind,
blinking at the sky.
 
A gentle drizzle
moistened its petals,
with soft drops
(one after another),
and the flower sang
- a swan’s song -
 
Oh! the drizzle
wore a heavy dress
and bleeding petals
fell - one by one.
 
Rain stopped.
The empty stem 
yet remained,
staring at the sky...
