Courageous

You reached out to hug me, I got choked up,, It shocked my heart,,,I miss that love,,,,,, It took all of me not to cry, All the pain pours out, I later hide to cry, People have broken my heart, broken my trust, The only arms I feel safe in is in the God I love, I can only imagine God with his arms wrapped around me, I can only imagine my husband who died doing the same thing, When you have lived without, you can only imagine, You say it's ok, you live with the sadness, You edify and encourage others not to give up, Because you know the pain behind losing that love, Because you battle something they can't see, And the compassion you have for them helps your heart to breathe, Bringing back the parts of life that you lost, It's a spiritual battle everyday at a cost, A reminder that never leaves, The sacrifice you can't see, The reward that humbles you and keeps you on your knees, When you see it being taken advantage of, you intercede, With such depth, only God can see, The heart of the cause, the courage in me.
