Courage She Could Not Muster For Herself

She could not get away from her abuser
When it was only her
But when her baby came along
She developed courage she could not muster for herself
She and the baby left without baggage
She did not want anything to slow down their escape

Sadly it happens too often, Caren. It does take a lot of courage for these women to just abruptly leave and get on with their lives. But they make a good decision when they do so.
