Courage My Friend the Devil Will Die

COURAGE MY FRIEND THE DEVIL WILL DIE

I see your eyes are crimson
And your voice is hoarse
You have lamented far too long, all hope seems lost
No one seems to care about your afflictions...

Yesterday you went to Mulago but doctors were on strike
The other day you couldn’t get your pension because it was never there
But take courage my friend…the devil will die

The corruption will cease and all will be well
The government programs will sail
The roads will be built to last
The teachers will teach their children
What is yours shall be deprived you not

The corrupt shall be tried
And the vice shall cease
All shall be well because we will it to be
Then shall you call me and pat me on the back
For the devil shall be dead and all will be well.
