Courage Is
Courage is running into an imploding
Twin Tower with a stretcher
When most are running out
Courage is deciding to confront terrorists
When you know you will die
But you know if you do not others will die
Courage is watching your child
Slowly die of cancer,
While holding them gently, singing
Courage is going to work every day
Where the corona virus lurks
Taking care of those who have it
Courage is standing up for what is right
For sharing your truth
Even if it means you might die for it
