Courage
Bareback riding on a galloping horse
In the dark, using force
To conquer barriers blocking my path
Laughing a completely maniacal laugh.
Wading through the cold, deep waters
That flow from the mountains, Zeus' daughters.
Battling hills and steep slopes
Foolishly high are my hopes.
Dashing through the open plains
Hearing voices calling my name
But I don't listen to them
I can't, I won't give in for a gem.
Gasping through the dry, hot deserts
My breathing as loud as the loudest concerts.
Listening to the music I cause
Still not eaten by my enemy's jaws.
What makes me strong you may ask?
Well, certainly not a simple task.
It's the courage and determination that does it all
Courage and determination not to fall.
